Use Headlines and Key Words to Drive Traffic to your Site

So I’m not an expert on SEO and I’m not going to pretend to be, but I told you we were going to dive into using headlines and key words properly to drive lots of quality leads to your site… and that’s exactly what we’re going to do. Because you can start doing this today without being an expert too to increase your exposure and qualified leads in your  business!

Woo hooooo!!

Now of course, you can always get help from an SEO guru to seriously boost your stats, but I’m going to give you simple ways to see a difference just like I have over the years. Especially if you’re not a techie kind of person (like me).  This is a really big key to get you flexing your online marketing muscle!

First, let’s discuss headlines.
The first rule in creating your headlines to get more clients is to make it juicy enough to want to read your article, watch your video, or look at the pictures. Always make the subject (or headline) exciting enough to want to click it and always tie it to a result.

For example – A so-so headline would be something like, “Are your future in-laws annoying you?” and a result-driven, exciting headline would go more like, “5 ways to get your future in-laws to stop driving you insane while planning your wedding”.

The rule of thumb I always use is for me to ask myself, “If I was going through emails or cruising online, would I stop to click and read?” If no – your headline stinks. If yes – slam dunk!

Now with keywords.
Again, I’m not getting techie, but if you also don’t understand how to do SEO on steroids, but you still want to see a bump in traffic, there are a few simple things you can start doing immediately. Search engines just love blogs because the information is always fresh … and basically that makes search engines happy. So post frequently enough that you keep the search engines happy as well as clients following your blog.

Also, integrate words throughout in a way that makes sense according to what you do and what you provide. So, using geographical words with cities you serve most is smart. Using keywords that your clients are typing in that make them find people like you is also imperative.

If you don’t know where to begin, you can use a tool like SpyFu.com to find out how clients are finding your competitors and start using those keywords throughout your own posts.

Try out these tools and see how brides will find you online a lot faster!

Make more money with that blog!!
